As birthplace of democracy, Philadelphia is a multicultural city. Always has been and always will be. And just like any other multicultural city, Philadelphia’s strength comes from its diversity. This blend of so many ethnicities gives every aspect of this city its own unique identity, from its food to its art to its history to its businesses and, most importantly, to its people. Diversity is the lifeblood of our beloved city and the driving force behind its success.

So when discriminatory incidents like April’s Starbucks controversy occur, it’s disheartening to see that such things can happen in a place that so many different races and ethnicities call home. When local businesses and establishments harbor any sort of bias, it divides the community around it when the goal should be bringing people together.

That is why the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Commerce has created a comprehensive list of Resources for Diversity and Inclusivity Training. A list that showcases several organizations in Philadelphia that provide diversity training to help foster safe, inclusive spaces for all peoples. And we at Imagine Leadership, LLC are proud to be included among these wonderful organizations, so we can further strengthen our community and continue to find strength in our diversity.

Americans, #letsmakehistoryagain.
